We definitely did. We even put an offer on the first one we loved. Lucky for us, they didn't take our offer b/c when it came back around (after the accepted offer bailed), we went back for another look and did so with more open, more experienced eyes (only in the sense that we'd seen a lot more houses). We saw that the windows were screwed shut. The laundry facilities IN the TINY kitchen. The no room to grow size. I felt terrible that we were all doom and gloom last night b/c it was a cute house. I feared it was our bias against having you three! move to Raleigh. I know you'll find the perfect house (in Durham- can't help it). It just may take a bit longer than you ready-to-nest parents would have liked. -Abby PS- Glad to see you back.
