Those kinds of surprises are never good on a birthday! Hope it’s all dried out now… You can always pop over (even in the wee hours of the morning — usually I’m still awake) and use our front loading washer. It handles large items like a charm. When we were washer/dryer shopping my main requirement was to find one that could handle a queen sized comforter so I didn’t have to take it to a laundromat to wash.

Wow! It can’t get any worse than that?! I hope you don’t have to eat those words once we’re homeowners and something explodes or falls through the ceiling or something I love you.
