Minecraft
Some of you may know what that title refers to. Others may not. Minecraft is a game that is currently under development. It's a fun piece of software. It's one part exploration, one part survival, and one part Legos. You're a little guy on a giant randomly generated map. You mine materials to build things. And that's about it. There are enemies that will hurt you unless you protect yourself. But other than that, you're free to roam the world and do as you please. It's interesting and fun. In the menu at the top is a link to a Minecraft page I setup that will have links to map renders I create from my local game. You can check it out if you want, but right now there is nothing amazing. We'll see how it progresses.
In my regular life things are going well. Evelyn's growing up and being awesome. Though sometimes she throws fits and is less than awesome. But, we'll work through it and hopefully come out the other side. Work is good. That's about it. I'm the 'I work to live, not live to work' kind of person.
We'll be visiting Wichita at the end of this month and hopefully catch up with as many people as we can. Hopefully the week and a half we'll be there will be enough to give everyone ample face time. If you don't get what you want in that department... well, take it up with management. We're only human and can only do so much.
See you on the flip side!
Our new camera!
We just finished up our family Christmas with my brother's family and my parents. They were kind enough to gift us a new Flip camera. And it's pretty awesome. Here's the first video of many from the camera.
Thanks A&A!
Welcome Back!
Well, I'm back... sort of. I gave up on creating my own blog because, frankly, I didn't take the time to do it (work, family, and video games take up too much of my time). So, here's WordPress. A quick and easy solution to your self-hosted blogging needs. For a while it will look very bland. I need to learn how to modify the style of the pages so I can make it my own. Until then I may mess with a few of the settings here and there, switch out some pre-made templates, and mess around with the sidebar to the right. So, this page will be in a state of flux, but hopefully you'll see me posting here more often than I used to.
Anyways, just got this setup and though it would look silly without some sort of new greeting post. Talk to you in the near future and we'll see how things go.
